  Amanpour's Impulse: Smear Israel CNN's Christiane Amanpour reveals a hostile view of Israel, injecting gratuitious, false claims about it into an argument between two guests discussing an unrelated subject. Behind the Scenes of CNN Bias II: Amanpour In a Behind the Scenes piece about the Dalai Lama, Christiane Amanpour manages to reference the Arab-Israeli conflict. This strained detour, which paints a false analogy between the situations in Tibet and the Middle East, emphasizes the Palestinian perspective of the conflict. CAMERA Video: Errors and Distortions in CNN's "God's Jewish Warriors" The video shows Christiane Amanpour misleading viewers about the history of Jerusalem, about the view of American presidents on the legality of settlements, and about a U.S. decision on loan guarantees to Israel. The video shows factual errors and distortions in the initial version of the program. UPDATE: The latest version of the CNN segment redresses some of the distortions in the original. Details to come. Amanpour Strikes Again Christiane Amanpour's CNN Special Generation Islam was supposed to explore the battle for the hearts and minds of young Muslims, especially in Afghanistan and Gaza. Unfortunately it was instead the usual Amanpour propaganda, especially in the second hour, where the subject might have been Gaza but the target was clearly Israel. Amanpour's Troubling Journalism Christiane Amanpour gained fame by using her role as a journalist to advocate on behalf of Bosnian Muslims who she believed were threatened by genocide. Now her brand of advocacy journalism is being applied to promote an anti-Western and anti-Israel narrative. God's Christian Warriors— CNN Slurs Christians In the last segment of God's Warriors, CNN's Christiane Amanpour equates Evangelical Christians in the Unites States with the Taliban. God's Muslim Warriors — CNN's Double Standard What is most striking in the first two segments of CNN's God's Warriors series is the different way Amanpour presents Jews and Muslims and their supporters. CNN Rebroadcasts "God's Jewish Warriors" with Revisions On October 31, CNN rebroadcast God's Jewish Warriors for the first time since late August. While serious factual errors identified by CAMERA were addressed and many editorial changes made, the fundamentally dishonest premise of the series remains. CAMERA on FoxNews after Running CNN Ad in the New York Times CAMERA's Alex Safian appeared on the FoxNews program Fox and Friends (October 18) to discuss the organization's New York Times ad about CNN's God's Warrior's series. CAMERA Ad in New York Times Educates on "God's Warriors" A full page ad highlighted some of the distortions in CNN's God's Warriors series with Christiane Amanpour and called on CNN to correct the errors. CAMERA's Alex Safian on FoxNews Exposes Amanpour's Bias CAMERA Associate Director Alex Safian appeared this morning on the FoxNews program Fox and Friends to discuss the errors and bias of the CNN series God's Warriors. CAMERA's Andrea Levin on FoxNews discussing CNN's "God's Warriors" CAMERA Executive Director Andrea Levin was featured in a FoxNews segment criticizing CNN's Christiane Amanpour and her God's Warriors series. CAMERA Video: Double Standard in CNN's "God's Warriors" Series Christiane Amanpour has two separate standards when it comes to emphasizing the religion of God's Warriors. In the first segment, she repeats God's Jewish Warriors 22 times. In the segment about Muslims, she links Muslim and Warriors only five times. CAMERA Op-Ed in Jerusalem Post Addresses Amanpour Distortions CAMERA's Op-Ed in the Jerusalem Post discusses CNN's poisonously biased series, God's Warriors. MSNBC's Dan Abrams Slams "CNN's Holy War" Dan Abrams tonight slammed CNN's God's Warriors as biased shoddy journalism, saying at the outset that the three-part series was not what it claimed or promised to be. In the segment, titled CNN's Holy war?, Abrams also said CNN should have called it what it was, a defense of Islamic fundamentalism and the worst type of moral relativism. God's Jewish Warriors — CNN's Abomination CNN's God's Jewish Warriors, hosted by Christiane Amanpour, is currently being rebroadcast on CNN. The piece is one of a three-part series supposedly intended to examine the growing role of religious fundamentalism in today's world. CNN made significant revisions to the program after it was criticized for a number of serious distortions. Unchanged, however, is the fundamentally dishonest premise of the series equating religiously devout Jews and Christians to radical Islam. CNN Tampers with Israeli Elections Reflecting the general obliviousness of CNN coverage toward the Israeli populace's deep anxiety in the face of almost daily terror assaults, seemingly baffled CNN star correspondent Christiane Amanpour declared Sharon's victory "incredible." Media Votes No On Israeli Democracy In a period of deep national trauma that included assassination of its prime minister, unprecedented terrorism on the streets of its cities, and wrenching internal debate over issues of national survival, the Israeli public went to the polls in orderly form and voted for a new government.
